Can FileMonkey extract email addresses from Outlook PST files?


"Personal Store" files (PST for short) are binary (compiled) and encrypted and therefore FileMonkey cannot extract email addresses from these files (read the next section for further advice).

Using Outlook to extract email addresses from PST files:

You could create a dummy Outlook account if you need to keep this data separate from your main email account. You can then use the Export feature of Outlook to export the PST file as a plain text file. FileMonkey can then extract email addresses from the plain text file.
