Uninstall
|
Close Convert Monkey and then select the "Uninstall Convert Monkey" shortcut in the Convert Monkey folder of your start menu. If this does not work then you can manually uninstall Convert Monkey. First, close Convert Monkey. Then, find the folder that Convert Monkey is installed in (This is typically something like "C:\Program Files\ConvMonk"). Delete this folder. |
Update
| Registered Users: Launch your registered version of Convert Monkey. Select "Help" and then select "Update" from the main menu. Alternatively, refer to your original order receipt for instructions or contact us. |

Convert Word Documents

To open this feature, select the "Quick-Find, Convert DOC Files" menu item from the main window. You can use this feature to convert word documents to either html, plain text, word perfect or rich text format. Select the required destination format from the available options and click the "Start" button to start the operation. Note that this feature requires Microsoft Word installed on your machine. Tick the "Write Over Files" tick box to write over destination files should they already exist. Tick the "Delete Originals" tick box to delete the source word documents. |
Convert Excel Spreadsheets

To open this feature, select the "Quick-Find, Convert XLS Files" menu item from the main window. You can use this feature to convert excel workbooks and worksheets to either html, plain text (tab delimited) or csv (comma delimited) format. You can also convert csv files to plain text or quattro format. Select the required destination format from the available options and click the "Start" button to start the operation. Note that this feature requires Microsoft Excel installed on your machine. Tick the "Write Over Files" tick box to write over destination files should they already exist. Tick the "Delete Originals" tick box to delete the source excel sheets. |
Convert Rich Text Files

To open this feature, select the "Quick-Find, Convert RTF Files" menu item from the main window. You can use this feature to convert rich text documents to either html, plain text, word perfect or microsoft word document (doc) format. Select the required destination format from the available options and click the "Start" button to start the operation. Note that this feature requires Microsoft Word installed on your machine. Tick the "Write Over Files" tick box to write over destination files should they already exist. Tick the "Delete Originals" tick box to delete the source rich text documents. |
Convert Plain Text Files

To open this feature, select the "Quick-Find, Convert TXT Files" menu item from the main window. You can use this feature to convert plain text files to either html, word perfect wpd format, excel spreadsheet xls format, microsoft word document (doc) or rich text (rtf) format. Select the required destination format from the available options and click the "Start" button to start the operation. Note that this feature requires Microsoft Word installed on your machine. Tick the "Write Over Files" tick box to write over destination files should they already exist. Tick the "Delete Originals" tick box to delete the source plain text files. |
Convert HTML Files

To open this feature, select the "Quick-Find, Convert HTM Files" menu item from the main window. You can use this feature to convert HTML files to either plain text (txt), document (doc) or rich text (rtf) format. Select the required destination format from the available options and click the "Start" button to start the operation. Note that this feature requires Microsoft Word installed on your machine. Tick the "Write Over Files" tick box to write over destination files should they already exist. Tick the "Delete Originals" tick box to delete the source HTML files. |
Convert Word Perfect Files

To open this feature, select the "Quick-Find, Convert Word Perfect" menu item from the main window. You can use this feature to convert WPD files to either html pages, plain text (txt), microsoft word document (doc) or rich text (rtf) format. Select the required destination format from the available options and click the "Start" button to start the operation. Tick the "Write Over Files" tick box to write over destination files should they already exist. Tick the "Delete Originals" tick box to delete the source HTML files. Note that this feature requires Microsoft Word installed on your machine. Note that you may be prompted to install Microsoft Word converters when you first use this feature. |
