What does it mean, publisher could not be verified?

You will get this message with most software packages that you attempt to download and install (typically if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer).

Publisher could not be verified warning message

This is a security layer that Microsoft have built in to Internet Explorer. It is designed to warn you that any files you are downloading could potentially contain viruses/spyware or other malware.

As our company (and most others) have not been individually verified by Microsoft, you will receive this message.

Note that you should only download and install files from the Internet if you believe the source to be trustworthy and reliable and if you know what it is that you are downloading and what it does.

If you are unsure, you can ask the publisher or perform internet research to find any reported issues with the software that you are downloading (for example, use google to search for: "FileMonkey virus").
